Ursula Becker
Ursula Becker was born in 1964.
She bought her first coffee machine when she was very young at a flea market: that was the beginning of a great passion for the design, engineering and history of coffee, and the machines used to prepare it.
After completing her studies in law and economics at university, she attended a PhD programme on the Hanseatic coffee trade in Hamburg and Bremen.
She currently holds the position of hospital manager. Her collection of coffee machines includes more than a thousand pieces and is constantly growing.
A selection of curious items completes her collection, including samovars and pieces from tea sets. She has a special interest in technological advances from the 19th century. Urusla is always willing to meet other enthusiasts and welcome visitors to Cologne for a cup of coffee.
